📚 Read the Bible — Don’t Let Someone Else Define God for You

If the only time you hear Scripture is from a preacher’s mouth or a social media clip, you’re in danger.

You can’t survive on secondhand faith.

You need the Word of God for yourself.

📖 Why Read the Bible?

Because you can’t follow Jesus if you don’t know His voice.

You can’t spot a lie if you’ve never learned the truth.

And you can’t live a life that pleases God if you don’t even know what He said.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” – Hosea 4:6

🚫 Don’t Just Assume They’re Right

False teachers quote the Bible.

Cults quote the Bible.

The devil himself quoted Scripture when he tempted Jesus (Matthew 4:6).

The question isn’t “Do they sound biblical?”

The question is “Is what they’re saying actually true in context?”

And you won’t know that…

unless you read it.

✅ The Bible Is:

  • God’s voice in written form
  • A weapon against lies and temptation (Ephesians 6:17)
  • A lamp for your path (Psalm 119:105)
  • A sword that divides truth from error (Hebrews 4:12)
  • A love letter and war manual all in one

🔥 You Need It Daily

You don’t eat once a week.

Why treat the Bread of Life that way?

Jesus said,

“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” – Matthew 4:4

🙌 Start Now

  • Don’t wait to feel ready.
  • Start in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John).
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to open your eyes.
  • Take notes. Ask questions. Keep going.

Don’t depend on the crowd. Don’t rely on tradition.

Go to the source.

Open your Bible.

Meet the real Jesus.

🤕 Why Forgiveness Is Important — Spiritually, Emotionally, and Practically

Forgiveness isn’t easy—but it’s essential. Not just for the person who hurt you, but for your own freedom, healing, and relationship with God. 1. Because God Commands It Jesus didn’t leave forgiveness as a suggestion. He made it clear: “If you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” —Matthew 6:15 When we forgive, we are obeying God and reflecting His mercy. As believers, we forgive because we’ve been forgiven. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” —Ephesians 4:32 2. Because Unforgiveness Holds You Prisoner Holding onto bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die. It eats at your peace. It feeds resentment. It blocks joy. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay—it means you’re choosing not to let it control you anymore. 3. Because It Sets You Free Forgiveness doesn’t change the past, but it transforms your present. It...

♥️ What Real Love Looks Like

Love is a word we hear every day—sung in songs, spoken in vows, printed on cards—but rarely do we stop to ask: What is real love? The World’s Version vs. God’s Version The world defines love as a feeling—fleeting, emotional, often self-centered. But the Bible flips that on its head. Love, according to God, is not just about how we feel. It’s about how we choose to act. It’s selfless. It’s sacrificial. It’s holy. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.” —1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (ESV) That kind of love doesn’t come naturally. It comes supernaturally. The kind of love that forgives the unforgivable, serves without expecting anything back, and lays down its life for others—that’s the love God poured out on the cross. Jesus: The Perfect Picture of Love The greatest example of love the world has ever known is Jesus Christ. He didn’t wait for us to be perfect before loving us. “But God shows his love for us in that while we wer...
