I Can’t Pretend This Doesn’t Hurt

There’s a grief that goes deeper than sadness—

A weight you carry when you realize the world is playing with fire… and smiling while it burns.

That grief is for the lost.

For those who laugh at truth.

For those who mock the cross.

For those who think eternity is a joke.

If you’ve ever found yourself asking, “Why does no one seem to care? Why does this hurt so much?”

You’re not being dramatic.

You’re not “too intense.”

You’re awake.

Jesus spoke often about eternity—not to scare people, but to save them.

He warned about the broad road that leads to destruction, the weeping and gnashing of teeth, the outer darkness, the judgment to come.

But today, the world scrolls past it.

Or worse—rebrands it as fiction.

Some even say, “Only God can judge me,” without understanding that… He will.

And that truth should shake us.

It should break our hearts for those who are living like forever isn’t real.

It should stir us to pray harder, speak bolder, and love deeper.

Not with pride. Not with superiority.

But with compassion that bleeds.

Because if Jesus died to save them, how can we stay silent?

This is not about winning arguments or posting the cleverest comment.

It’s about eternity.

Heaven.

Hell.

Forever.

And the truth is: not everyone who claims Jesus will enter His Kingdom.

He said it Himself.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven.” – Matthew 7:21

That’s why this hurts.

Because people we love… people we pass on the street…

are living like this world is all there is.

But you—

If you feel that ache in your soul, don’t ignore it.

It’s not depression. It’s not overthinking.

It’s the Holy Spirit giving you a burden.

Let it move you.

Let it break you.

Let it drive you to your knees.

Because there’s still time.

There’s still hope.

There’s still mercy.

But the door won’t stay open forever.

Speak up.

Shine bright.

And don’t apologize for caring about eternity.

Because this is not a game.

And your soul knows it.

🤕 Why Forgiveness Is Important — Spiritually, Emotionally, and Practically

Forgiveness isn’t easy—but it’s essential. Not just for the person who hurt you, but for your own freedom, healing, and relationship with God. 1. Because God Commands It Jesus didn’t leave forgiveness as a suggestion. He made it clear: “If you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” —Matthew 6:15 When we forgive, we are obeying God and reflecting His mercy. As believers, we forgive because we’ve been forgiven. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” —Ephesians 4:32 2. Because Unforgiveness Holds You Prisoner Holding onto bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die. It eats at your peace. It feeds resentment. It blocks joy. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay—it means you’re choosing not to let it control you anymore. 3. Because It Sets You Free Forgiveness doesn’t change the past, but it transforms your present. It...

♥️ What Real Love Looks Like

Love is a word we hear every day—sung in songs, spoken in vows, printed on cards—but rarely do we stop to ask: What is real love? The World’s Version vs. God’s Version The world defines love as a feeling—fleeting, emotional, often self-centered. But the Bible flips that on its head. Love, according to God, is not just about how we feel. It’s about how we choose to act. It’s selfless. It’s sacrificial. It’s holy. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.” —1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (ESV) That kind of love doesn’t come naturally. It comes supernaturally. The kind of love that forgives the unforgivable, serves without expecting anything back, and lays down its life for others—that’s the love God poured out on the cross. Jesus: The Perfect Picture of Love The greatest example of love the world has ever known is Jesus Christ. He didn’t wait for us to be perfect before loving us. “But God shows his love for us in that while we wer...
