Why You Must Renounce the Kingdom of Darkness

Today, many churches teach people to say, “Yes, I believe in Jesus.”

And that’s good.

But it’s not enough.

Because salvation isn’t just about believing in your mind—it’s about changing kingdoms.

“For He has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness and transferred us into the Kingdom of His dear Son.”

— Colossians 1:13 (NLT)

⚔️ You’re Not Just Saying Yes—You’re Leaving a Kingdom

When someone gives their life to Jesus, they’re not making a lifestyle adjustment.

They’re declaring spiritual war.

They’re crossing enemy lines.

But in many churches today, there’s no call to renounce sin,

no mention of Satan’s kingdom,

and no repentance that breaks chains.

Just:

  • “Raise your hand.”
  • “Repeat this short prayer.”
  • “You’re saved now. Welcome.”

And what happens?

Many walk out the same way they walked in—still bound.

🗝️ What’s Missing? Renunciation.

In the book of Acts, when people truly turned to Jesus, they burned their old idols and occult books (Acts 19:18–19).

They didn’t just “add Jesus.”

They removed the darkness.

When someone says:

“Yes, Lord, I give You my life,

and I renounce the kingdom of darkness,”

Something breaks.

The enemy loses legal ground.

Deliverance happens.

Many will manifest—right there—because that declaration is not just symbolic.

It’s spiritual warfare.

😶 Why Don’t Churches Do This?

Some are afraid of being “too intense.”

Some don’t want to deal with the demonic.

Some just haven’t been taught.

But the result?

People say they’re saved but still live in bondage.

They never renounced sin, Satan, or spiritual strongholds.

They never truly crossed over.

🛑 Let’s Be Clear: You Must Renounce the Old

Salvation isn’t just about “adding Jesus.”

It’s about leaving Egypt.

Leaving sin.

Leaving darkness.

Jesus doesn’t share space with demons.

He doesn’t enter until the door is open—and the old master has been kicked out.

🙏 A Real Prayer of Kingdom Transfer

Lord Jesus, I give You my life.

I believe You died for me and rose again.

I turn from my sin.

I renounce the kingdom of darkness—every spirit, every stronghold, every lie, and every agreement.

I close every door to Satan and his works.

And I fully surrender to Your Lordship.

I belong to You now.

In Jesus’ name. Amen.

✨ This Is What’s Missing

This is why people manifest when truth is preached.

This is why demons scream when real repentance happens.

Because the power of the Gospel is not just that Jesus saves—it’s that Jesus delivers, cleanses, and reclaims territory.

Let’s stop preaching half a Gospel.

Let’s stop leading people halfway out.

Let’s call them to fully renounce darkness—and step into the Kingdom of Light.

🤕 Why Forgiveness Is Important — Spiritually, Emotionally, and Practically

Forgiveness isn’t easy—but it’s essential. Not just for the person who hurt you, but for your own freedom, healing, and relationship with God. 1. Because God Commands It Jesus didn’t leave forgiveness as a suggestion. He made it clear: “If you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” —Matthew 6:15 When we forgive, we are obeying God and reflecting His mercy. As believers, we forgive because we’ve been forgiven. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” —Ephesians 4:32 2. Because Unforgiveness Holds You Prisoner Holding onto bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die. It eats at your peace. It feeds resentment. It blocks joy. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay—it means you’re choosing not to let it control you anymore. 3. Because It Sets You Free Forgiveness doesn’t change the past, but it transforms your present. It...

♥️ What Real Love Looks Like

Love is a word we hear every day—sung in songs, spoken in vows, printed on cards—but rarely do we stop to ask: What is real love? The World’s Version vs. God’s Version The world defines love as a feeling—fleeting, emotional, often self-centered. But the Bible flips that on its head. Love, according to God, is not just about how we feel. It’s about how we choose to act. It’s selfless. It’s sacrificial. It’s holy. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.” —1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (ESV) That kind of love doesn’t come naturally. It comes supernaturally. The kind of love that forgives the unforgivable, serves without expecting anything back, and lays down its life for others—that’s the love God poured out on the cross. Jesus: The Perfect Picture of Love The greatest example of love the world has ever known is Jesus Christ. He didn’t wait for us to be perfect before loving us. “But God shows his love for us in that while we wer...
