😇 Being a Good Person Won’t Get You into Heaven

Ask most people if they’re going to heaven, and they’ll say:

“I think so… I’m a good person.”

But the Bible never says heaven is for good people.

It says it’s for forgiven people.

😇 What Most People Believe:

  • If I don’t hurt anyone, I’ll be fine.
  • If I give to charity, I’m covered.
  • If my good outweighs my bad, I’ll get in.
  • I’m not perfect, but I’m not a murderer.

The problem? That’s not what God’s Word says.

“There is no one righteous, not even one.” – Romans 3:10

“All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” – Romans 3:23

🔥 The Truth:

You’re not good enough. I’m not good enough.

No one is. That’s why we need a Savior.

“For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.” – James 2:10

Even one sin is enough to separate you from a holy God forever.

The punishment for sin isn’t canceled out by good deeds — it’s death.

“The wages of sin is death…” – Romans 6:23

✝️ But Here’s the Good News:

“…But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 6:23

God knew we could never earn our way into heaven, so He made a way through Jesus.

Jesus lived the perfect life you couldn’t.

He took your punishment.

He died in your place.

He rose from the dead — defeating sin and death forever.

🚫 So No, Good People Don’t Go to Heaven

Saved people do.

Forgiven people do.

Those who repent and trust in Jesus do.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” – John 14:6

🕊️ Final Word:

You can’t earn it.

You don’t deserve it.

But you can receive it — by grace through faith.

Stop trusting your goodness.

Start trusting in His.

The cross is the only way in.

🤕 Why Forgiveness Is Important — Spiritually, Emotionally, and Practically

Forgiveness isn’t easy—but it’s essential. Not just for the person who hurt you, but for your own freedom, healing, and relationship with God. 1. Because God Commands It Jesus didn’t leave forgiveness as a suggestion. He made it clear: “If you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” —Matthew 6:15 When we forgive, we are obeying God and reflecting His mercy. As believers, we forgive because we’ve been forgiven. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” —Ephesians 4:32 2. Because Unforgiveness Holds You Prisoner Holding onto bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die. It eats at your peace. It feeds resentment. It blocks joy. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay—it means you’re choosing not to let it control you anymore. 3. Because It Sets You Free Forgiveness doesn’t change the past, but it transforms your present. It...

♥️ What Real Love Looks Like

Love is a word we hear every day—sung in songs, spoken in vows, printed on cards—but rarely do we stop to ask: What is real love? The World’s Version vs. God’s Version The world defines love as a feeling—fleeting, emotional, often self-centered. But the Bible flips that on its head. Love, according to God, is not just about how we feel. It’s about how we choose to act. It’s selfless. It’s sacrificial. It’s holy. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.” —1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (ESV) That kind of love doesn’t come naturally. It comes supernaturally. The kind of love that forgives the unforgivable, serves without expecting anything back, and lays down its life for others—that’s the love God poured out on the cross. Jesus: The Perfect Picture of Love The greatest example of love the world has ever known is Jesus Christ. He didn’t wait for us to be perfect before loving us. “But God shows his love for us in that while we wer...
