πŸŒ„ Salvation According to Jesus: What He Actually Said

When it comes to salvation, opinions are everywhere. Some say you just have to be a good person. Others believe religion or rituals will save them. But none of that matters if it’s not what Jesus said.

If you want to know how to be saved, go to the source.

Here’s what Jesus Himself taught about salvation — in His own words.

1. You Must Be Born Again

“Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

— John 3:3

Salvation isn’t about being religious. It’s about a spiritual rebirth. This happens when the Holy Spirit transforms your heart and you turn to Jesus in faith.

2. You Must Believe in Him

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”

— John 3:16

Belief isn’t just intellectual agreement — it’s trusting Jesus as your Savior and following Him as your Lord.

3. You Must Repent

“Unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.”

— Luke 13:3

To repent means to turn away from sin and turn to God. Jesus didn’t say, “Just add me to your life.” He said to change direction and follow Him.

4. You Must Deny Yourself and Follow Him

“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.”

— Luke 9:23

Salvation isn’t about comfort. It’s about surrender.

It’s not a one-time prayer. It’s a lifelong pursuit.

5. You Must Do the Will of the Father

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.”

— Matthew 7:21

Jesus warned that lip service isn’t salvation. A true believer lives in obedience to God — not perfectly, but purposefully.

6. You Must Abide in Him

“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit.”

— John 15:5

Salvation is ongoing relationship, not a box you check. Jesus saves — and those who are saved will walk with Him.

7. You Must Enter Through the Narrow Gate

“Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction… but the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life.”

— Matthew 7:13-14

Not everyone will be saved. The road to eternal life is narrow, and only a few find it. That’s not harsh — that’s Jesus being honest.

8. You Must Confess and Remain Faithful

“Everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father… but whoever denies me… I will also deny.”

— Matthew 10:32-33

Faith isn’t private. A saved person stands for Jesus — even when it costs them.

So, How Can You Be Saved?

According to Jesus:

  • Repent of your sins
  • Believe in Him
  • Be born again
  • Deny yourself
  • Follow Him
  • Obey the Father
  • Stay connected to Jesus
  • Confess Him before others

This isn’t a checklist — it’s a transformed life through faith in the Son of God.

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

— John 14:6

Jesus is salvation. Not religion. Not good works. Him.

🎬 K-Pop Demon Hunters Is Not Christian Content — Let’s Be Clear

Last night, I sat through K-Pop Demon Hunters. Not by choice—someone else wanted to watch it. But afterward, I felt the need to speak up. Because there’s been some confusion about this movie being “Christian” or “spiritual” in a good way. Let me be clear: This is not biblical. This is not Christian. This is not godly entertainment. πŸ’₯ It Uses Demons, But Not the Bible Yes, the movie talks about fighting demons. But that doesn’t make it Christian. There’s no mention of Jesus. No gospel message. No biblical authority. No power of the Holy Spirit. Just flashy K-pop stars battling evil with glowing weapons and good vibes. That’s not spiritual warfare. That’s fantasy dressed in spiritual language. “For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” —2 Corinthians 11:14 ❌ False Light, False Power The movie gives the impression that we can fight darkness with: Friendship Positivity Inner strength A good team But the Bible says the only way to d...

🍰 Feeding My Flesh, Starving My Soul

There’s a line that hit me recently: “Feeding my flesh, starving my soul.” It’s short, but it says everything. The Battle Within The Bible tells us that the flesh and the Spirit are at war with each other (Galatians 5:16–17). Every day, we make choices—what we watch, listen to, say, and do. Each choice either feeds our flesh or feeds our soul. When we give in to sin, distractions, or comfort above Christ, we are feeding our flesh. The scary part? The more we feed it, the hungrier it gets. Meanwhile, our soul starves. Our prayers feel empty, Scripture feels distant, and joy starts slipping away. What We Feed Will Grow Romans 8:6 says, “For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” That’s the truth. If we keep feeding our flesh, we’ll find ourselves restless, unfulfilled, and far from God. But when we feed our soul—through prayer, worship, reading the Word, and obeying Jesus—we grow stronger in Him. The Spirit c...

♥️ What Real Love Looks Like

Love is a word we hear every day—sung in songs, spoken in vows, printed on cards—but rarely do we stop to ask: What is real love? The World’s Version vs. God’s Version The world defines love as a feeling—fleeting, emotional, often self-centered. But the Bible flips that on its head. Love, according to God, is not just about how we feel. It’s about how we choose to act. It’s selfless. It’s sacrificial. It’s holy. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.” —1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (ESV) That kind of love doesn’t come naturally. It comes supernaturally. The kind of love that forgives the unforgivable, serves without expecting anything back, and lays down its life for others—that’s the love God poured out on the cross. Jesus: The Perfect Picture of Love The greatest example of love the world has ever known is Jesus Christ. He didn’t wait for us to be perfect before loving us. “But God shows his love for us in that while we wer...
