✝️ Prophecy in Proportion to Our Faith

Romans 12:6 says: “Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith.” At first glance, this phrase may feel a little mysterious. What does it mean to prophesy “in proportion to our faith”? God Is the Source Prophecy is not something we create or imagine—it comes from God. Scripture says, “For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit” (2 Peter 1:21). That means prophecy is never about showing off spiritual greatness. It’s about God speaking through His people. Faith Is the Measure The word “proportion” points us to faith as the measure or limit. God gives each believer a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). When He gives a prophetic word, we are called to speak it according to the faith He has entrusted to us. This keeps us from two dangers: Going beyond faith: Adding to what God has said, exaggerating, or speaking from o...

🤖 Pregnancy Robots: What Do They Mean for Us?

Technology continues to push the boundaries of what we once thought impossible. In recent years, scientists have been developing pregnancy robots — advanced machines designed to grow and deliver babies outside of a woman’s womb. This futuristic idea raises excitement for some and concern for others. Let’s take a closer look. The Promise of Pregnancy Robots Medical researchers see potential in artificial womb technology. It could: Help premature babies survive and develop more safely. Provide hope for couples struggling with infertility. Advance science in ways that could save lives in high-risk pregnancies. In these areas, the technology could be a blessing, giving vulnerable babies a chance to live. The Concerns We Can’t Ignore But there are also serious ethical questions: Could this technology replace the beauty of natural pregnancy? Would it reduce children to products of science rather than gifts from God? Who decides how and when such technology should be...

🎮 Feeding My Flesh or Feeding My Soul?

Not long ago, I found myself spending way too much time playing a game. I didn’t realize it at first, but my soul was starving. I felt spiritually dry, disconnected, and empty. That night, I turned back to God’s Word. I stayed up until 2 a.m. watching Bible teachings, and something happened—I felt life coming back into me. When I focused on Jesus, my soul began to breathe again. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4, ESV) I couldn’t get a line out of my head: “feeding my flesh, starving my soul.” That’s exactly what was happening. I was giving time and energy to things that couldn’t truly satisfy, while neglecting the only One who could. “Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food.” (Isaiah 55:2, ESV) The Choice We All Face Every day, I have a choice—will I f...

🎓 Life Is a School: Why Hell Isn’t God’s First Choice

I once asked God, “Why can’t we just go to a school to learn… why hell?” Then it hit me—life itself is the school. We are being trained, corrected, and shaped every single day. God has given us opportunities to learn, to repent, to grow, and to follow His ways. “Blessed is the man whom You discipline, O Lord, and whom You teach out of Your law.” (Psalm 94:12, ESV) But the sobering truth is this: many people reject correction. They refuse God’s discipline, and in doing so, they are actually choosing their punishment. Scripture says, “Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid.” (Proverbs 12:1, ESV) Before Jesus Came Before Christ came, people who died went into the grave awaiting judgment. But when Jesus died and rose again, He defeated death itself and took the keys of hell. “I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.” (Revelation 1:18, ESV) He is the only one who could rescue us. The...
