🤥 Not Every Preacher Tells the Truth – How to Spot a False Gospel

Jesus warned us: false teachers would rise up — and many would follow them.

They wouldn’t come with horns or red flags.

They’d come with smiles, charisma, and Bible verses out of context.

And they’d preach something almost true.

🚨 What Does a False Gospel Look Like?

Here are some signs you’re not hearing the true Gospel of Jesus Christ:

1. Jesus Is Treated Like a Means to an End

If the message is mostly about money, success, healing, or getting a “breakthrough” — and Jesus is just the tool to get it — that’s not the Gospel.

That’s idolatry dressed up in Christian language.

“Their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame.” – Philippians 3:19

2. No Talk of Sin, Hell, or Repentance

If you leave church every week feeling good about yourself but never convicted of your sin — run.

Jesus didn’t come to affirm us. He came to transform us.

“Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” – Matthew 4:17

3. It’s All About You

The true Gospel is about Jesus. False gospels turn the focus inward — your destiny, your dreams, your promotion.

Jesus didn’t die to make you popular. He died to make you holy.

“He must increase, but I must decrease.” – John 3:30

4. No Call to Take Up Your Cross

Any gospel that tells you salvation is easy and painless is lying.

Following Jesus means dying to yourself daily.

“Whoever does not carry their cross and follow Me cannot be My disciple.” – Luke 14:27

📖 How to Protect Yourself

  • Know the Word – False teachers thrive when people don’t read the Bible.
  • Test the Spirits – Not every supernatural experience is from God (1 John 4:1).
  • Follow Jesus, Not a Personality – A pastor, prophet, or influencer is not your Savior.
  • Stay Rooted in Truth – Feelings can lie. God’s Word never does.

Final Warning

“Even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let them be under God’s curse.” – Galatians 1:8

This matters. Eternity is on the line.

Don’t chase hype. Chase holiness.

Don’t follow crowds. Follow Christ.

🎬 K-Pop Demon Hunters Is Not Christian Content — Let’s Be Clear

Last night, I sat through K-Pop Demon Hunters. Not by choice—someone else wanted to watch it. But afterward, I felt the need to speak up. Because there’s been some confusion about this movie being “Christian” or “spiritual” in a good way. Let me be clear: This is not biblical. This is not Christian. This is not godly entertainment. 💥 It Uses Demons, But Not the Bible Yes, the movie talks about fighting demons. But that doesn’t make it Christian. There’s no mention of Jesus. No gospel message. No biblical authority. No power of the Holy Spirit. Just flashy K-pop stars battling evil with glowing weapons and good vibes. That’s not spiritual warfare. That’s fantasy dressed in spiritual language. “For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” —2 Corinthians 11:14 ❌ False Light, False Power The movie gives the impression that we can fight darkness with: Friendship Positivity Inner strength A good team But the Bible says the only way to d...

🍰 Feeding My Flesh, Starving My Soul

There’s a line that hit me recently: “Feeding my flesh, starving my soul.” It’s short, but it says everything. The Battle Within The Bible tells us that the flesh and the Spirit are at war with each other (Galatians 5:16–17). Every day, we make choices—what we watch, listen to, say, and do. Each choice either feeds our flesh or feeds our soul. When we give in to sin, distractions, or comfort above Christ, we are feeding our flesh. The scary part? The more we feed it, the hungrier it gets. Meanwhile, our soul starves. Our prayers feel empty, Scripture feels distant, and joy starts slipping away. What We Feed Will Grow Romans 8:6 says, “For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” That’s the truth. If we keep feeding our flesh, we’ll find ourselves restless, unfulfilled, and far from God. But when we feed our soul—through prayer, worship, reading the Word, and obeying Jesus—we grow stronger in Him. The Spirit c...

♥️ What Real Love Looks Like

Love is a word we hear every day—sung in songs, spoken in vows, printed on cards—but rarely do we stop to ask: What is real love? The World’s Version vs. God’s Version The world defines love as a feeling—fleeting, emotional, often self-centered. But the Bible flips that on its head. Love, according to God, is not just about how we feel. It’s about how we choose to act. It’s selfless. It’s sacrificial. It’s holy. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.” —1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (ESV) That kind of love doesn’t come naturally. It comes supernaturally. The kind of love that forgives the unforgivable, serves without expecting anything back, and lays down its life for others—that’s the love God poured out on the cross. Jesus: The Perfect Picture of Love The greatest example of love the world has ever known is Jesus Christ. He didn’t wait for us to be perfect before loving us. “But God shows his love for us in that while we wer...
