πŸ™…πŸ»‍♂️ When Man Plays God: The Pattern of False Prophets and Fake Religions

🚨 A Dangerous Pattern Repeats

All around the world, billions follow religions that didn’t exist 2,000 years ago.

Why?

Because throughout history, false prophets have done the same thing:

They reject the true Jesus, claim new revelation, and create religions that lead people away from salvation.

It’s not new.

It’s not truth.

It’s a spiritual deception — warned about in Scripture.

“For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.”

— 2 Corinthians 11:13

Let’s break down the pattern:

1. πŸ”₯ They Deny the True Jesus

False religions always redefine Jesus.

Instead of worshiping Him as the eternal Son of God, they strip Him down to a prophet, angel, or enlightened man.

Examples:

  • Islam: Jesus was just a prophet — not God’s Son, not crucified.
  • Mormonism: Jesus is a created being, the spirit brother of Lucifer.
  • Jehovah’s Witnesses: Jesus is Michael the archangel, not equal to the Father.
  • New Age: Jesus is just a spiritual guide, like Buddha or Krishna.

“Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father.” – 1 John 2:23

“In Him all the fullness of Deity lives in bodily form.” – Colossians 2:9

If they get Jesus wrong, they get eternity wrong.

2. πŸ“– They Add New Revelation

Almost every false religion begins with someone claiming they received a new word from God — something the Bible never said.

Examples:

  • Muhammad said the angel Jibril gave him the Qur’an, correcting the “corrupted” Bible.
  • Joseph Smith said God gave him golden plates to restore the “true church.”
  • Other cult leaders claim dreams, visions, or private messages that redefine salvation.

“Do not add to His words…” – Proverbs 30:6

“Even if we… preach a different gospel… let him be accursed.” – Galatians 1:8

The Bible is complete. Jesus is the final Word.

False prophets claim God missed something.

3. ⚖️ They Preach a Different Gospel

Instead of salvation by grace through faith, false prophets teach salvation by works, rituals, or hidden knowledge.

They turn the free gift of the cross into a religious checklist or secret code.

Examples:

  • Islam teaches your good deeds must outweigh your bad — and even then, Allah might not forgive.
  • Mormonism teaches you must do temple work, pay tithes, and keep LDS ordinances to be exalted.
  • Jehovah’s Witnesses teach you must earn paradise by spreading Watchtower teachings.

“By grace you have been saved through faith… not by works.” – Ephesians 2:8–9

“The gospel is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” – Romans 1:16

No man can earn heaven.

Only Jesus paid the price.

4. πŸ‘‘ They Make Themselves the Authority

False prophets always place themselves between you and God.

They claim special access, private knowledge, or prophetic status that elevates them above Scripture.

Examples:

  • Muhammad is considered the “seal of the prophets.”
  • Joseph Smith said all Christian churches were wrong — and only he had the truth.
  • Modern spiritual gurus claim enlightenment and authority without the Bible.

“You will know them by their fruits.” – Matthew 7:16

“Woe to the shepherds who destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture!” – Jeremiah 23:1

They don’t point to Jesus — they point to themselves.

✝️ One Truth Still Stands

One God. One Cross. One Savior. One Gospel.

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” – Hebrews 13:8

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” – John 14:6

You don’t need a religion.

You don’t need a prophet in the middle.

You need the real Jesus.

Repent.

Reject false prophets.

Trust in the One who died and rose again.

πŸ€• Why Forgiveness Is Important — Spiritually, Emotionally, and Practically

Forgiveness isn’t easy—but it’s essential. Not just for the person who hurt you, but for your own freedom, healing, and relationship with God. 1. Because God Commands It Jesus didn’t leave forgiveness as a suggestion. He made it clear: “If you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins.” —Matthew 6:15 When we forgive, we are obeying God and reflecting His mercy. As believers, we forgive because we’ve been forgiven. “Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.” —Ephesians 4:32 2. Because Unforgiveness Holds You Prisoner Holding onto bitterness is like drinking poison and expecting someone else to die. It eats at your peace. It feeds resentment. It blocks joy. Forgiveness doesn’t mean what they did was okay—it means you’re choosing not to let it control you anymore. 3. Because It Sets You Free Forgiveness doesn’t change the past, but it transforms your present. It...

♥️ What Real Love Looks Like

Love is a word we hear every day—sung in songs, spoken in vows, printed on cards—but rarely do we stop to ask: What is real love? The World’s Version vs. God’s Version The world defines love as a feeling—fleeting, emotional, often self-centered. But the Bible flips that on its head. Love, according to God, is not just about how we feel. It’s about how we choose to act. It’s selfless. It’s sacrificial. It’s holy. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.” —1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (ESV) That kind of love doesn’t come naturally. It comes supernaturally. The kind of love that forgives the unforgivable, serves without expecting anything back, and lays down its life for others—that’s the love God poured out on the cross. Jesus: The Perfect Picture of Love The greatest example of love the world has ever known is Jesus Christ. He didn’t wait for us to be perfect before loving us. “But God shows his love for us in that while we wer...
