⚠️ Where Each Religion Goes Astray

Here’s a simple, loving overview showing where major religions go astray, according to the Bible:

Christianity (True Gospel)

✅ Jesus is God.

✅ Salvation is by grace through faith in Him alone.

✅ The Bible is God’s final Word.

Islam

❌ Denies Jesus is God.

❌ Says He didn’t die on the cross.

❌ Adds the Qur’an after the Bible.

➡ Goes astray by rejecting the Son of God and His sacrifice (see John 3:16–18).

Judaism

❌ Accepts the Old Testament but rejects Jesus as Messiah.

➡ Goes astray by missing the fulfillment of prophecy in Jesus (see Isaiah 53, Matthew 1).

Hinduism

❌ Believes in millions of gods.

❌ Teaches reincarnation and karma.

➡ Goes astray by worshiping creation instead of the Creator (see Romans 1:25).

Buddhism

❌ Denies a personal God.

❌ Teaches you reach “nirvana” through self-effort.

➡ Goes astray by relying on self, not a Savior (see Ephesians 2:8–9).

Mormonism (LDS)

❌ Adds books to the Bible (like the Book of Mormon).

❌ Teaches Jesus is a created being.

➡ Goes astray by changing who Jesus is and adding to God’s Word (see Galatians 1:8–9).

Jehovah’s Witnesses

❌ Deny Jesus is God.

❌ Say He is Michael the archangel.

➡ Goes astray by rejecting the deity of Christ (see John 1:1, Colossians 2:9).

New Age / Spirituality

❌ Says “all paths lead to God.”

❌ Focuses on self, energy, or “the universe.”

➡ Goes astray by ignoring Jesus as the only Way (see John 14:6).

Wicca / Witchcraft

❌ Uses spells, crystals, and spirit guides.

❌ Often sees Jesus as just a good teacher.

➡ Goes astray by turning to dark spiritual forces instead of the Holy Spirit (see Deuteronomy 18:10–12).

Catholicism

(not all individuals, but the system)

❌ Adds traditions and sacraments for salvation.

❌ Elevates Mary and the Pope.

➡ Goes astray by adding works and human authority to the finished work of Christ (see Titus 3:5, Hebrews 10:10–14).

Bottom Line:

🛑 All these go astray by removing, replacing, or rejecting Jesus as the only Savior.

✅ The true Gospel is simple:

Jesus alone saves. No additions. No replacements. No exceptions. (Acts 4:12)

🎬 K-Pop Demon Hunters Is Not Christian Content — Let’s Be Clear

Last night, I sat through K-Pop Demon Hunters. Not by choice—someone else wanted to watch it. But afterward, I felt the need to speak up. Because there’s been some confusion about this movie being “Christian” or “spiritual” in a good way. Let me be clear: This is not biblical. This is not Christian. This is not godly entertainment. 💥 It Uses Demons, But Not the Bible Yes, the movie talks about fighting demons. But that doesn’t make it Christian. There’s no mention of Jesus. No gospel message. No biblical authority. No power of the Holy Spirit. Just flashy K-pop stars battling evil with glowing weapons and good vibes. That’s not spiritual warfare. That’s fantasy dressed in spiritual language. “For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” —2 Corinthians 11:14 ❌ False Light, False Power The movie gives the impression that we can fight darkness with: Friendship Positivity Inner strength A good team But the Bible says the only way to d...

🍰 Feeding My Flesh, Starving My Soul

There’s a line that hit me recently: “Feeding my flesh, starving my soul.” It’s short, but it says everything. The Battle Within The Bible tells us that the flesh and the Spirit are at war with each other (Galatians 5:16–17). Every day, we make choices—what we watch, listen to, say, and do. Each choice either feeds our flesh or feeds our soul. When we give in to sin, distractions, or comfort above Christ, we are feeding our flesh. The scary part? The more we feed it, the hungrier it gets. Meanwhile, our soul starves. Our prayers feel empty, Scripture feels distant, and joy starts slipping away. What We Feed Will Grow Romans 8:6 says, “For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” That’s the truth. If we keep feeding our flesh, we’ll find ourselves restless, unfulfilled, and far from God. But when we feed our soul—through prayer, worship, reading the Word, and obeying Jesus—we grow stronger in Him. The Spirit c...

♥️ What Real Love Looks Like

Love is a word we hear every day—sung in songs, spoken in vows, printed on cards—but rarely do we stop to ask: What is real love? The World’s Version vs. God’s Version The world defines love as a feeling—fleeting, emotional, often self-centered. But the Bible flips that on its head. Love, according to God, is not just about how we feel. It’s about how we choose to act. It’s selfless. It’s sacrificial. It’s holy. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.” —1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (ESV) That kind of love doesn’t come naturally. It comes supernaturally. The kind of love that forgives the unforgivable, serves without expecting anything back, and lays down its life for others—that’s the love God poured out on the cross. Jesus: The Perfect Picture of Love The greatest example of love the world has ever known is Jesus Christ. He didn’t wait for us to be perfect before loving us. “But God shows his love for us in that while we wer...
