❌ Why Mormonism Is Not Christian — Exposing the Deception of the LDS Church

✋ Not the Same Jesus. Not the Same Gospel.

Mormons (members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) claim to follow Jesus Christ.

They use Christian words, reference the Bible, and emphasize family and morality. But make no mistake — Mormonism is not Christianity.

It is a system of man-made revelation, false prophecy, and a different gospel that leads people away from the truth.

Let’s break down the lies — and point to the real Jesus.

πŸ“› 1. They Preach a Different Jesus

Mormons believe Jesus is the literal spirit child of God the Father and a heavenly mother, and the spirit brother of Lucifer.

They teach He became a god through progression — and that you can too.

But the Bible says:

“In the beginning was the Word… and the Word was God.” – John 1:1

“Before Abraham was, I am.” – John 8:58

“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” – Hebrews 13:8

Jesus is not a created being. He is eternal, uncreated, and fully God.

πŸ“– 2. They Add to the Bible with New Scriptures

Mormons use four books:

  1. The Bible
  2. The Book of Mormon
  3. Doctrine and Covenants
  4. The Pearl of Great Price

They claim the Bible is corrupted and incomplete — but God says:

“Do not add to His words, or He will rebuke you and prove you a liar.” – Proverbs 30:6

“If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues…” – Revelation 22:18

The Bible is sufficient. There is no need for Joseph Smith’s added revelations.

❌ 3. They Preach Works-Based Salvation

Mormonism teaches that to be exalted (to become a god and rule over your own planet), you must:

  • Be baptized in the LDS church
  • Do temple work
  • Follow LDS prophets
  • Keep commandments
  • Do “worthy” works consistently

But the Bible says:

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith — not by works.” – Ephesians 2:8–9

“Not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy.” – Titus 3:5

Salvation is not earned. It is a gift.

πŸ›️ 4. They Follow a False Prophet

Mormons believe Joseph Smith was a prophet of God.

But Smith made false prophecies:

  • The Lord would return before 1891 (false)
  • A temple would be built in Missouri within Smith’s generation (false)
  • The Civil War would spread globally (false)

God’s standard for prophets:

“When a prophet speaks… and the thing does not happen… the Lord has not spoken.” – Deuteronomy 18:22

Joseph Smith is a false prophet. And everything built on a lie will fall.

🧠 5. They Believe in Many Gods

Mormonism teaches God the Father was once a man who became a god, and that faithful Mormons can also become gods of their own worlds.

But Scripture says:

“Before Me no god was formed, nor will there be one after Me.” – Isaiah 43:10

“I am the LORD, and there is no other; apart from Me there is no God.” – Isaiah 45:5

There is only one God, eternally existing.

You won’t become one. You need the One.

πŸ”₯ Final Word:

Mormonism sounds Christian — but it is a counterfeit.

It uses Scripture to hide a system of false gods, man-centered theology, and eternal deception.

The Jesus of Mormonism cannot save you.

But the Jesus of the Bible — the eternal Son of God — can.

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” – John 14:6

✝️ The True Gospel:

  • Jesus is not your spirit brother.
  • You will never become a god.
  • You are a sinner in need of grace.

Jesus, fully God and fully man, died for your sins, rose from the dead, and offers eternal life — not in a man-made kingdom, but in the presence of the one true God.

Repent.

Believe the Gospel.

Leave religion.

Follow Jesus.

🎬 K-Pop Demon Hunters Is Not Christian Content — Let’s Be Clear

Last night, I sat through K-Pop Demon Hunters. Not by choice—someone else wanted to watch it. But afterward, I felt the need to speak up. Because there’s been some confusion about this movie being “Christian” or “spiritual” in a good way. Let me be clear: This is not biblical. This is not Christian. This is not godly entertainment. πŸ’₯ It Uses Demons, But Not the Bible Yes, the movie talks about fighting demons. But that doesn’t make it Christian. There’s no mention of Jesus. No gospel message. No biblical authority. No power of the Holy Spirit. Just flashy K-pop stars battling evil with glowing weapons and good vibes. That’s not spiritual warfare. That’s fantasy dressed in spiritual language. “For Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.” —2 Corinthians 11:14 ❌ False Light, False Power The movie gives the impression that we can fight darkness with: Friendship Positivity Inner strength A good team But the Bible says the only way to d...

🍰 Feeding My Flesh, Starving My Soul

There’s a line that hit me recently: “Feeding my flesh, starving my soul.” It’s short, but it says everything. The Battle Within The Bible tells us that the flesh and the Spirit are at war with each other (Galatians 5:16–17). Every day, we make choices—what we watch, listen to, say, and do. Each choice either feeds our flesh or feeds our soul. When we give in to sin, distractions, or comfort above Christ, we are feeding our flesh. The scary part? The more we feed it, the hungrier it gets. Meanwhile, our soul starves. Our prayers feel empty, Scripture feels distant, and joy starts slipping away. What We Feed Will Grow Romans 8:6 says, “For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.” That’s the truth. If we keep feeding our flesh, we’ll find ourselves restless, unfulfilled, and far from God. But when we feed our soul—through prayer, worship, reading the Word, and obeying Jesus—we grow stronger in Him. The Spirit c...

♥️ What Real Love Looks Like

Love is a word we hear every day—sung in songs, spoken in vows, printed on cards—but rarely do we stop to ask: What is real love? The World’s Version vs. God’s Version The world defines love as a feeling—fleeting, emotional, often self-centered. But the Bible flips that on its head. Love, according to God, is not just about how we feel. It’s about how we choose to act. It’s selfless. It’s sacrificial. It’s holy. “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.” —1 Corinthians 13:4-5 (ESV) That kind of love doesn’t come naturally. It comes supernaturally. The kind of love that forgives the unforgivable, serves without expecting anything back, and lays down its life for others—that’s the love God poured out on the cross. Jesus: The Perfect Picture of Love The greatest example of love the world has ever known is Jesus Christ. He didn’t wait for us to be perfect before loving us. “But God shows his love for us in that while we wer...
